go home, loser

Clothing projects that I've worked on:

Burning Man 2002: I did all the soldering and built controllers for Drue's el wire fire dress and Jennifer's el wire wings. Here they are on the playa at night:

Burning Man 2003: I did all the soldering and built controllers for Drue's el wire flower dress (this time with a fancypants sequencer that makes the bird's wings flap! Ooo!) I also did metalwork, soldering, and controller-building for Jennifer's el-wire wings v2.0 (bigger, better and 15 pounds heavier).

Some video of the animated dress on the playa (use this link if the embed fails):

Me wearing the wings to the 2005 Fire Arts Festival at The Crucible. I also made the red crushed velvet robe (very cool photos courtesy of waterbones):

More information about el wire appears on the resources page. If you want to learn how to work with el wire and you're in the Bay Area, I highly recommend taking the 1-day workshop at The Crucible.

Halloween 2003: Drue and I dressed up as Lenore and Mr. Gosh. If you don't know who Lenore and Mr. Gosh are, get thee over to spookyland right away.

(you know what to do here, right?)
